To book an appointment, submit the form below. Please be thorough and descriptive with your inquiry. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Where am I located at?
I am tattooing at Bird of Paradox Studios in downtown Kenosha,WI. I go by appointment only unless specified as a walk-in day event.
The shop is above The Lettering Machine, on the corner of 50th Street and 8th ave. The address is 723 50th Street in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The door has 2 metal birds on a white door.
We’re next to Champions the bar and across the street from The Port. We have lots of little shops and restaurants nearby, few minutes away from downtown local shopping and nightlife.
Where do I park?
Parking is street parking. There only some areas with signs around that say 2 hr parking. However, this isn’t reinforced strictly. Typically, there’s a good selection of nearby parking spaces.
What are my hours?
What is my hourly rate?
My hours are Tues-Saturday 12-8pm (may vary until finished with session of last tattoo of the day).
Sundays are only available when doing What The Hex or Conventions. Convention hours will be stated in events section and discussed with you prior when booking your time of the appointment.
I am $150/hour. I quote the closest and best I can based off information given within the form. I do quote per piece or per session.
My minimum or starting price is $100.
Full day sits (7-8) hours is $1,000. A 8 1/2 hours+ is $1,250.

You fill out the form above and send it over to me. From there, we’ll discuss your piece like clarifying any details along with sending you dates and times available.
You can also book an in person or virtual consultation to go over your ideas. Sometimes discussing face to face works the best and less back and forth.
Once I know what day(s) and time(s) work for you, I will just need a deposit to hold the spot and cover my drawing time prior to this appointment. I cannot complete the booking without a deposit.
The deposit at a minimum is $100 down and comes off the final cost/last session of the tattoo. The deposit is non refundable! You may move your appointment twice with at least a 48 hour notice beforehand without needing a new deposit. If less than 48 hours notice or no call no show, your deposit is forfeited and you will need a new one to rebook. If you no-call no-show, you will be blocked from further bookings.
Larger scaled work/ongoing projects will need a larger deposit of $150-$250 down (sleeve work, back pieces, body suit, etc.)
Deposits can be done with cash or card in studio, via Venmo, PayPal, or cash app. Card does have a 2.5% swipe fee.

I do not send out designs prior to the appointment. I show you when you arrive to your appointment. If there is any minor changes, we’ll do those. After we get the design perfect, we get you stenciled and get it started!
If you’d like to see your piece beforehand, you can book a design check. This is only a few days before the appointment day in studio. If you’re out of state, I can do a virtual call and show it that way. There are many reasons why but the biggest one is theft issues. This is why I say to be thorough with your descriptions. It helps me get the details right and give you a masterpiece.

No you cannot. We advice to wait til you are finished with antibiotics and an extra week or two to rebuild your gut biome and immune system. This way you won’t feel ill or have rougher healing experience.
-
No you cannot. It isn’t safe to do and you will be refused for the service until you are no longer pregnant and nursing. There are too many risks and complications.
I recommend that once you are ok with ending nursing if you needed to or are completely done, that’s the time that’s safe to get tattooed.

I include one free touch up to use within a year. Not all tattoos will end up needing a touch up (which is great!). If it does need one or you think it may need one, message me and send me a photo! From there, I can assess and touch up what’s needed.
If a touchup is well after a year+, then it would go to my hourly rate.

Yes! Actually, there’s a few even posted in my portfolio. I do them quite often.
With coverups, I do ask for ideas and things you like. I also will state that coverups do have limitations and not everything will work. I recommend if you are looking to get one, send me an image of the tattoo you have that you want to be covered up and any references and things you like as potential elements. Please make sure its a good straight on shot of the tattoo to get a better idea of what were covering and making the design aspect easier. This can be done via email or come in for a consultation and I take a photo while you’re here.
Sometimes, I will have to break the news that the idea or design won’t work currently for a coverup. This might mean we do a different design to cover the old tattoo up and do that design elsewhere, or laser removal to get it lightened or fully removed to do the desired design there. I highly recommend Removery (I’ve also gotten laser removal treatments there and had wonderful results). With laser removal, it does take time. It isn’t instantaneous and needs also time to heal between and after treatments. So keep this in mind.
Things that I know and recommend for coverups:
Heavy textures, darker colors, or strategic and occasional black and grey. i.e. feathers, floral, butterfly wings, galaxy, etc.
The more open minded and creative freedom you give men, the better and easier the result will be.

I do!
I have a designs available tab here on the website, a wanna-do printed version for at the studio or conventions, and a Get What You Get gum-ball machine. These are all at a slightly discounted rate. I just need to know where on the body, black and grey, color, or line work only, and size to best quote.

Rarely.
I am appointment only. However, I do occasionally do a walk in day or event. I will post this on the events page along with do an email alert through glossgenius to let everyone know what day that will be.
The only other times I can do walk ins are time during conventions or at What The Hex if I do not have appointments. I may also be able to occasionally at guest spots. Those are also posted in the events section. I’ll also post on social media. If unsure if openings, just message me!
