Meet Your Artist
Hello. My name is Hannah Copeskey. I’m a tattoo artist from Wisconsin. I’ve been tattooing since 2016.
I’m at a private studio in downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin. While I do a variety of styles, my favorite styles to tattoo are neotraditional and illustrative styles.

What got me into tattooing was an infinite love of art and fascination with body art/wearable art. I was drawn to it at a young age. I remember first time seeing people with tattoos and being entranced by the idea that you could have art on your skin and be a walking art museum. Something about that is really beautiful.
I didn’t go into tattooing right away though. My parent’s back then weren’t supportive of the idea, at the time. I went to art school and almost became an art teacher.
After graduating, I still felt like something was missing and teaching wasn’t the path for me. I went out with my portfolio and applied to try and get an apprenticeship. After many no’s, I finally found a place to train me. While it was incredibly hard and not in the best and kindest environment, I got my chance and from there I kept at it, moved shops, and continued to grow along with healthier environments. Thus, this brings me to where I am today!
I fell in love with the art of tattooing more and more each year. It’s the most fulfilling career I’ve ever had. Nothing better than following your dreams!

If I kept it short and sweet, I’d say my clients. However, I don’t think that really gives a picture of why.
I love being able to bring peoples dreams to life… to take an image in their mind and make it a reality, from imaginary to a walking piece of art.
I love seeing my clients faces light up and make them feel so good and confident. It’s such an honor to be apart of their story and self love journey.
I also appreciate being a part of your journey, celebration or loss. It’s always an honor to be a part of it, listening to the reasoning behind your pieces, the hardship, the wins, and everything in between. It means the world to create a safe space and have your trust.
